It's a terrific place. I took my wife there for La Dia Del Independencia and the Banda was there - two trumpets, three guitars, three violins! The music of instruments and singing was thrilling. The food was great, the place was packed and everyone was having a great time. What a memorable evening! Lamont P. San Mateo

We eat here about once a month. The ambience is pleasing and the food is great. They have made major rennovations and it is very attractive. Their Mini Burrito (it isn't stingy!) is a great option for lunch. Jerry R. Millbrae

We eat here frequently because the food is very good and the we are always made to feel welcome. We have never had to wait very long even when they are busiest. I reccomend the Chicken Tacos with a Cadillac Margarita! L M. San Mateo

Love this restaraunt ! Coming from Sinaloa in Mexico on the Pacific, they know how to do seafood! So order seafood mija it's their speciality! Mary Beth, Daly City

They bring forth generous amounts of best quality home made salsa as soon as you sit down and they bring you more until you say stop. The personnel are super friendly. The atmosphere is inviting. I've been with groups for lunch about a half dozen times and all of the Mexican dishes are always tasty. They are from Sinaloa in Mexico on the Pacific, so the specialize in seafood, but you can always find plenty of standard dishes if you prefer. All of this and great value! Linda R. San Mateo

El Sinaloense is reasonably priced and the food is great. They have a long menu including manyseafood dishes. Their Chipotle Shrimp plate is to die for!! J.K. San Mateo.

Passed by at lunch time and the huge pictures of food in the window caught my eye. So I stopped in and was delighted with my discovery. Ron B. San Mateo

The new ownership really boosted this place. it is on its way to greatness. i do love their chimichangas, and their deep fried burritos are always yummy. I tried their Chille Relleno Burrito. It was very, very good, exactly what I expected, not spicy, but tasty. Next time I'll try some shrimp. R.D. San Bruno

Sinaloense is back to back with the Safeway at 17th and El Camino and you might never find it except by accident. But, it's very nice, and recently remodeled, and the food and the upbeat, friendly staff are great - you'll probably meet the owner or his wife. Bobbi A. San Mateo

Went to Mazatlan in Sinaloa on the Pacific Ocean for vacation - great food, and great ambience. And El Sinaloense brings Mazatlan to San Mateo in style! But it's not all seafood, and everything I've had there has been fresh, properly cooked, and served hot. Roxanne, San Mateo
